Our Men In Black brought a strong message for three nights and hearts were truly set on fire for mission.
The first of the three evening videos is posted to the left.
Now, those who attended and encountered Jesus through these holy priests, we must not let what was experienced there turn into a fading memory. If you were there and the Lord spoke to you through these three men of God, then pray for the grace to do as Fr. Alan told us on the last night - to stop trying to do things to be a disciple but rather be open to encountering Christ and others each and every day and allowing ourselves to be transformed through those encounters.
As a parish staff, we will continue seeking ways that will help us all learn to be more open to the great adventure of encounter that the life of the disciple is meant to be. But whatever you do, don't let the blazing fire of love in your heart from this mission die back into embers barely alight.
If you want to stay ablaze but aren't sure how, contact one of our priests or deacons and ask them for guidance about how to keep the fires burning for the Lord and the life he has called you to experience as his disciple.
Come Holy Spirit! Show us how to have and maintain hearts on fire for mission!
